Polaris Dawn Crew Returns to Earth
Successful Space Mission Concludes
Crew Spends Six Days in Orbit
The crew of the Polaris Dawn mission has returned to Earth after successfully completing their six-day mission in orbit.
The mission, which launched on September 15, was the first crewed spaceflight to reach such a high altitude since the Space Shuttle program ended in 2011. The crew spent six days in orbit, conducting a variety of experiments and tests.
The mission was a success, and the crew returned to Earth safely on September 21. The crew is now undergoing medical evaluations and debriefings, and the data collected during the mission will be used to help plan future space missions.
